Russian stocks may decrease amid mixed foreign background

MOSCOW, Jun 4 (PRIME) -- The Russian stock market may moderately decrease at the opening on Friday amid a mixed foreign background and a lack of growth drivers, analysts said.

“We expect the MOEX Russia Index to open with a moderate decrease within 0.1–0.4%, in the range of 3,790–3,800 points. The nearest support levels will be 3,780 and 3,760 points. The main resistance will be at 3,820 and 3,840 points,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.

Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures are changing within 0.1%, Brent oil futures added 0.2%, China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.5%, and Japan’s Nikkei225 lost 0.4%, the analyst said.
